Nehemiah Rebuilds The Walls
Lesson Focus:
When Nehemiah learned that Jerusalem was in ruins, he was destressed and asked King Artaxerxes for permission to rebuild. God gave Nehemiah favor with the king and the Jewish leaders, providing protection and means for rebuilding, Nehemiah traveled to Jerusalem to oversee the reconstruction in the face of opposition.

- Identify examples of Nehemiah's reliance on God.
- Describe the connections between trusting in God and acting in faith.
Memory Verse:
Jeremiah 33:7-8 I will retore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel, and rebuild them as they were at first. I will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, and will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me.
